A Blueprint for a Better Tomorrow

"Politics of Hope, Not Hate!"

Foreign Policy

Our Foreign Policy should promote Human Rights and Democracy throughout the world, by supporting nations who share this belief, by opening our markets to them.

We should use our markets to influence nations to adopt democracy as their form of Government.

We must be consistent in how we deal with other nations, so as not to be viewed as having double standards.

We must not let greed and profit be our moral compass from which we set foreign policy by.

We must pay off the debt, so we that we can be a stronger nation, so that our policies and our values will not be influenced by those who hold our debt.

It is counter productive to our interests, when we trade with Nations who trade with Nations who do not share the same beliefs & values as ours.

When the United States trades with China, we are strengthening our enemies and supporting terrorism indirectly.

When we purchase products from China, our dollar is used by China to purchase oil from Iran, who supports Hezbollah and funds the terrorists who are killing our troops in Iraq.

So we must use our Markets to promote Democracy and to defeat terrorism.

We must make it clear we will not do business with those who do business with Nations who openly support terrorism and who ignore the International Will of Nations by ignoring the Sanctions put forth by the United Nations. This is how we get other nations to put pressure on those nations who support terrorism.

We have the Largest free market in the World and we should use it as a tool to promote our beliefs. It is the strongest weapon we have, without putting our troops in Harms way.

We must repair our reputation in the world of being a peaceful nation, so that other nations will not fear us, and cause them to seek or build and stockpile Nuclear Weapons.

While we will not go out looking for a fight, we will not back down from one if attacked. We must make sure we remain strong militarily, by strengthening our manufacturing base here at home, and doing away with trade policies that serve to make our enemies stronger and us weaker by becoming dependent on them for our energy and our goods.

The Blue Print for a Better Tomorrow does this, by paying off the debt, encouraging foreign investment in our country, and keeping jobs here by promoting a climate in which American Business can be competitive with businesses abroad.
