We are the richest nation in the world and yet we have 49 million Americans in this country who have no health insurance.
We spend $5,711 per every man woman and child in the United States and yet we rank 37th in Health Care according to the World Health Organization.
France on the other hand spends $2,902 per every man woman and child in their country. France is ranked number #1 in health care by the World Health Organization.
Maybe we could learn something from countries like France.
When I sat down and looked at the alternatives to the current health care system which leaves to many uninsured or under-insured. I told myself, there were 2 main objectives that this plan, or any plan for that matter had to be able to acheive. It must be able to control costs, and it must guarantee better health care for all Americans than what we currently have.
Any plan that can't acheive those 2 objectives, will not be a improvement over what we have now, and very well could end up being worse than what we have.
So with that in mind, I sat down and started crunching numbers and studying health care in other nations, and put together a National Health Care Plan that controls costs, provides high quality care, and also gives bright students, who may not have had the opportunity to get into the medical field due to their financial situation the opportunity to serve their country, and get their entire education paid for by the Government.
Now there are those who would say this program is socialism. Maybe so, but most of the same people who will say this are the same people who support our Military System which is socialistic itself.
This whole plan is patterned after our Military, so if one believes in our Military and you believe we have the best trained Military in the world, then you have to believe that this plan will also give us the best trained, best health care providers & system in the world.
The Blueprint for a Better Health Care System.
We recruit people to work in our Government Hospitals just like the military recruits people to serve in the Military.
We will pay for all of their education, in exchange for a commitment to serve their country for 7 years in a Government Hospital for after they complete their education.
This plan reduces the cost to small business owners as well as large corporations, and saves the taxpayer and consumer money. By allowing them to keep their money, instead of paying for High Health Insurance Premiums, which are rising faster than at any time in our history and amounts to a Hidden Tax on business and consumers.
This Plan puts the savings to them back into their pockets, where they can use it to buy more goods and services creating even more jobs and economic growth here in the United States.
Small businesses will do the best under this plan. You talk to any small business owner, and he'll tell you that the cost of health insurance, for himself and his employees is the biggest burden along with taxes that they face in doing business. Alot of small businesses go our of business because they simply cannot affored to stay in business because of these 2 reasons.
The Blueprint for a better tommorro will cut taxes, and make health care free for all.
These are the facts!
In 2007, total national health expenditures were expected to rise 6.9 percent — two times the rate of inflation. Total spending was $2.3 TRILLION in 2007, or $7600 per person. Total health care spending represented 16 percent of the gross domestic product (GDP).
U.S. health care spending is expected to increase at similar levels for the next decade reaching $4.2 TRILLION in 2016, or 20 percent of GDP.
In 2007, employer health insurance premiums increased by 6.1 percent - two times the rate of inflation. The annual premium for an employer health plan covering a family of four averaged nearly $12,100. The annual premium for single coverage averaged over $4,400.
Experts agree that our health care system is riddled with inefficiencies, excessive administrative expenses, inflated prices, poor management, and inappropriate care, waste and fraud. These problems significantly increase the cost of medical care and health insurance for employers and workers and affect the security of families.
